Description: Our event is entitled: "Following the World Voice Day - La laringe: Fragilità nelle varie età della vita." The wel known invited speakers will talk about the anatomical and physiological peculiarities of the vocal folds along lifetime, from the neonatal period to the aging changes, that can be cause of voice disturbances. The event is organized by professor Giovanna Cantarella, of the Laryngology and Phoniatrics Service in the Hospital Fondazione Policlinico in Milan and by the Department of Clinical Sciences and Community Health, University of Milan, and will be held in a beautiful historical place: The "Sala Napoleonica" of Milan University. The hall is situated in palazzo Greppi, an eighteenth-century building designed by Piermarini, one of the first examples of Milanese Neoclassicism.
