Description: How do emotions belong to the speech? How do the body and movement act as links between emotions and sound? The Finnish Vocologists Association and the Laboratory of Speech and Voice Research at the University of Tampere will organize an open world voice day event for all. The theme of the event is the connection of sound to body and emotions. We'll look into how emotions are reflected through the body to the voice and why emotions, on the other hand, do not always convey the voice as the speaker meant. In the workshops, we explore the connection between sound and emotions through exercise and active experimentation. In addition to the workshops and lectures, the participants can also discuss issues related to the human voice with specialist experts, vocologists.
