Join movement specialist, Sarah Whitten for Warm up your Body, Warm Up your Voice where you will have you an opportunity to fuse movement and vocalizing.
We will explore through a series of gentle movements targeting the spine, shoulders & hips, and check in with the voice as we go to see how movement impacts your instrument.
This class is appropriate for those who are able to get up and down off of the floor.
Dress in clothing you are comfortable moving in. You will want a yoga mat, and a pillow or cushion to sit on as well as blocks (or two big scores, music dictionaries, pedagogy books) to use as props.
