Description: The Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program and Department of Music are collaborating to celebrate World Voice Day on April 7. The program will present information on vocal health for the general public as well as for professional vocalists, circumstances under which voice problems develop, when to seek help, and professionals who treat voice disorders. Students from the St. Ambrose Music Department round out the event with a presentation of a variety of performance styles and genres, with subsequent discussions of techniques to minimize/prevent non-productive compensatory behaviors and to enhance proficient voice use.
