Lá Domhanda an Ghlóir: a celebration of voices, human and synthetic

Description: A musical celebration of the voice- both human and synthetic - will be held in Trinity College, Dublin. Researchers working on the ABAIR initiative in the Phonetics and Speech Lab. will showcase ongoing voice research and technology development for the Irish language. ABAIR focuses on the development of state-of-the-art synthesis systems, featuring a variety of different voices and dialects. The main webpage (www.abair.ie) along with educational and accessibility applications which use the ABAIR speech synthesis system as their core technology will be featured on the night.
